Born on March 25th 1970 in Rockland County as David Jason Moses. Influenced by Kurosawa, Hitchcock, and Robert Rodriguez, he started his career in film in the early 90s when he attended Albany University. Even as a struggling student, David spared no expense getting to his vision. He went as far as comendeering a windshield from the local junkyard and used it to build a space ship in the walk in closet of his apartment for his first short film "Captain Avenger" (action/comedy). The short was  critically acclaimed among his teachers and his peers. The short also starred a childhood friend of David’s, composer & musician Rick Larsen, who he would later collaborate on other projects with. During the course of the next 15 years, one project leading to the next, his work ranged from a documentary (Scratch) to the comedic (Four Samurai) and poignant (Traveler, 4 of 8, 9D and 8MM). Even branching out to direct a music video  “Ain't No Thing Is Perfect” for singer /songwriter, Derek James (Traveler). Frustrated by costly and non-effective filming equipment, he would eventually challenge himself by creating a dolly and a camera crane from scratch. He is currently in production on a short film entiled ‘Up & Coming” -  about the resurgence of the electric guitar and death of the acoustic. His projects in development include "Deluded" "Hollywood Dreams" and "The Bouncer".
